continuation of Eliza’s detach monoprint series Detach, this practice captures memories through written record, sketched and then framed through a method of destructive monoprinting which erases and distorts the image. (left: two pulls of “too late, 2021”)
Detach, Behind the Process (pictured below) is a digital concept for an Art Book, documenting method and process.
Through this book Eliza wanted to introduce the versatile process of monoprinting in its many forms to those who are keen to expand their practice, but to also encourage her community to record their testing, innovations and many achievements.
